Hiking the Black River Gorges: Full-day with Lunch and Transfer
Hiking the 7 waterfalls, a must-do!!!
We appreciated the pickup at the hotel by our taxi Manav, who provided us with plenty of information throughout the journey. Arriving at the meeting point, it was Steve who was our guide, very kind, considerate, full of little details about our walk, and we were able to taste the samosas and sandwiches he had prepared for us. The walk is magnificent, a bit sporty but really worth it; the waterfalls are impressive.

Hiking in Mauritius: Tamarind Falls (7 Cascades) With Hotel Transfer & Guide
Our hike was hands down one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Mauritius. Our guide Sanjeev was very friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the natural beauty of his island. The waterfall trail itself was stunning—lush greenery, birdsong all around, and the kind of peaceful atmosphere. Sanjeev was incredibly patient, making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable, whether we were navigating a tricky path or stopping for photos.
