Walking
From the center of Black River, start at the main bus stop located on the main road. Head south on the main road (Royal Road) towards the coast. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Route No. 10. Turn left onto Route No. 10. Keep walking for about 1.5 km until you reach the entrance to Black River Gorges National Park. Follow the signs to the visitor center, which is located approximately 500 meters into the park.

From the main bus stop in Black River, take the bus heading towards Chamarel or the Black River Gorges area. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Black River Gorges National Park. Once you disembark, follow the signs to the park entrance, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Black River and ride south along Royal Road. After approximately 2 km, turn left onto Route No. 10. Continue to cycle for another 1.5 km until you see the entrance to Black River Gorges National Park. You can park your bicycle at the visitor center before exploring the gorge.
