Walking
Starting from the center of Black River, make your way towards the main road (Royal Road). Head southwest on Royal Road until you reach the intersection with Route C2, which is the road leading towards Chamarel. Turn left onto Route C2 and continue straight. After approximately 2.5 kilometers, you will enter Black River Gorges National Park. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the entrance to the park, where you will pay any necessary entrance fees. Once inside the park, follow the signs leading to Gollum Trail. The trailhead is located at HCJP+226, which is about a 1-kilometer walk from the park entrance. Continue along the marked paths, and you will arrive at the start of Gollum Trail.
