From the center of Black River, start at the Black River Church. Head west along the main road (Royal Road) towards the coast. Continue walking for about 1 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Coastal Road (A3). Keep walking along this road for approximately 1.5 km. You will see signs directing you towards Tamarin. Follow the signs, and as you approach Tamarin, look out for the hiking trails that lead towards Tourelle du Tamarin. The trailhead is located near the Tamarin Bay area.

From Black River, make your way to the nearest bus stop on Royal Road. Take a bus heading towards Tamarin (look for buses labeled 'Tamarin'). The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Tamarin, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, follow the Coastal Road heading west for about 500 meters. You will find the trailhead leading to Tourelle du Tamarin on your left. Hike up the trail to reach the summit for stunning views.
