Getting There

Walking
From the center of Chamarel, start walking towards the Chamarel Waterfall. Follow the road leading away from the waterfall, and continue straight until you reach the main road (Route Royale). Turn right on Route Royale and walk for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Route C1. At this intersection, turn left onto Route C1 and continue walking for another 2 km. You will notice signs pointing towards Black River. Keep following the signs. Once you reach Black River, look for L'Estuaire, La Balise Marina on your right. The JPH Charters point of embarkation is located at this marina.

Public Bus
From Chamarel, head to the nearest bus stop located near the Chamarel Waterfall. Take the local bus heading towards Black River. The bus ride should take about 30 minutes. Be sure to tell the bus driver you are going to 'La Balise Marina'. Once you arrive in Black River, walk towards the marina area. JPH Charters is located at L'Estuaire, La Balise Marina. It’s a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a local taxi from Chamarel. You can find taxis near the Chamarel Waterfall. Inform the driver that you would like to go to 'L'Estuaire, La Balise Marina'. The drive will take approximately 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
