From Grand Baie, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the Grand Baie Bazaar. Look for a bus heading towards Mapou or the northern region. The buses are typically marked with their destination. Once aboard, enjoy the scenic ride for about 20 minutes. When you reach the stop for Mapou, disembark and head towards the main road. The Château de Labourdonnais is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards the Domaine de Labourdonnais, and you will see the entrance.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Grand Baie. Simply find a taxi stand or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Inform the driver that you want to go to Château de Labourdonnais in Mapou. The drive should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off at the entrance of the Domaine de Labourdonnais.
