From the Grand Baie Public Beach, head east along the coastline towards the La Cuvette Beach. Continue walking along the beach path until you reach the main road, Royal Road. Turn left onto Royal Road and walk until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Flacq. Cross the road and continue walking straight until you reach the Bus Station in Central Flacq. The Viewpoint River is located just a short distance from the bus station along the riverbank.

From the Grand Baie Bus Station, board any bus heading towards Flacq. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Central Flacq Bus Station, exit the bus and walk towards the river. The Viewpoint River is a short walk from the bus station, following the signs towards the scenic point along the riverbank.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Grand Baie. Start by cycling along the coastal path towards La Cuvette Beach. After enjoying the beach, cycle back to Royal Road and continue towards Flacq. Follow the road signs, and upon reaching the Central Flacq Bus Station, park your bicycle and walk to the Viewpoint River, which is nearby.
