Car
If you are driving, start by leaving your accommodation in Ile aux Cerfs and head towards the mainland. Take the ferry to the mainland (this may incur a small cost of around 300 MUR for the ferry ride). Once you reach the mainland, follow the signs towards Trou d'Eau Douce. From there, take the B8 - La Baraque Rd heading west. Continue straight on this road for approximately 15-20 minutes, and Benares Cross Roads will be on your left. Look for the intersection where local landmarks or shops can assist you in confirming your arrival.
Public Transportation
To reach Benares Cross Roads using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Ile aux Cerfs to Trou d'Eau Douce. This may cost around 50 MUR. Once you arrive at Trou d'Eau Douce, transfer to a bus heading towards Belle Mare or Flacq. Inform the driver that you want to get off at B8 - La Baraque Rd. The bus ride should take about 30-40 minutes. After getting off, walk a short distance to reach Benares Cross Roads, which will be nearby.
