If you are starting from the central bus station (Gare Victoria), exit the station and head south toward the main road. Turn left onto Rue Deschartres and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rue La Corderie. Turn right onto Rue La Corderie. Continue walking until you reach the waterfront area. At the waterfront, turn left and walk along the promenade until you see the iconic Caudan Waterfront complex on your right. From there, continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Rue St Denis. After a short walk, keep an eye out for St James Court on your left. The cathedral is located in St James Court, with its entrance on St Denis Street.

If you are near the Port Louis Market, exit the market and head towards the main road, Rue Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam. Walk straight down this road until you reach the intersection with Rue La Corderie. Turn left onto Rue La Corderie and continue walking until you reach the waterfront. Once you reach the waterfront, turn left and walk along the promenade until you come to the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Rue St Denis. After a short walk, you will find St James Court on your left. The cathedral is situated within St James Court, accessible from St Denis Street.

You will pass various shops and cafes along the way. Continue straight until you reach St James Court, which will be on your right.
