If you are in the central area of Port Louis, start at the Caudan Waterfront. Head east along the waterfront promenade until you reach the end of the pier. From there, turn right onto the main road (A1) and continue walking straight. You will see the famous Aapravasi Ghat on your left. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rue des Rames. Turn left onto Rue des Rames and continue straight until you reach the roundabout.

Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Poudrière. Turn right onto Rue de la Poudrière and follow the street until you see the large Umbrella Square ahead.
