Car
From Plage de Moya, head southeast on Route de Moya towards Mamoudzou. Continue on this route for approximately 15 kilometers. As you approach Mamoudzou, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Passamainty. Take the exit towards Passamainty and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Gouloué. Turn left onto Rue de la Gouloué and follow it for about 2 kilometers. The Cascade de la Gouloué will be on your right, just past a small parking area.
Public Transportation
From Plage de Moya, take a local bus towards Mamoudzou. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as they may not run frequently. Once you arrive in Mamoudzou, transfer to another bus that heads towards Passamainty. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Rue de la Gouloué. After getting off, walk approximately 2 kilometers along Rue de la Gouloué, and you will find the Cascade de la Gouloué on your right. Note that bus fares may vary, so keep some cash on hand.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and want to experience the local scenery, you can walk from Plage de Moya to Cascade de la Gouloué. This is a longer trek, approximately 17 kilometers and may take around 3-4 hours. Start by following Route de Moya towards Mamoudzou. After reaching Mamoudzou, take Rue de la Gouloué, and continue walking until you reach the waterfall. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water for the journey.
