From the main town of Creel in Copper Canyon, head southwest on Highway 16 (Carretera Federal 16) towards the town of San Juanito. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Highway 24. Turn left onto Highway 24 and follow it for about 40 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the direction to Cascada Basaseachic. After passing through the small town of Basaseachic, continue for 10 kilometers until you reach the parking area for the waterfall. Be mindful of the road conditions, as some sections may be unpaved. There is no entry fee for parking.

From Creel, take a local bus or taxi to the town of San Juanito. The buses typically run several times a day, but it's best to check the schedule in advance. Once in San Juanito, you can hire a taxi to take you the remaining 40 kilometers to Cascada Basaseachic.
