From central Zihuatanejo, head southeast on Paseo de La Bahía. Follow the road along the coastline for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Playa las Gatas. Turn onto the road leading to Playa las Gatas, which is paved and well-marked. Keep driving until you reach the beach area, where you can find parking. There may be a small fee for parking.

From Zihuatanejo's main bus terminal, take a local bus that says 'Playa las Gatas.' The bus ride takes about 20-30 minutes and costs around 10-15 MXN. The bus will drop you off near the beach. From the drop-off point, it is a short walk to the beach area. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.

If you prefer a more scenic route, you can take a boat taxi from the Zihuatanejo pier directly to Playa las Gatas.
