If you're driving from Acapulco, take the Autopista del Sol (Mexican Highway 95D) towards Zihuatanejo. The drive is approximately 3 hours. Follow the signs for Zihuatanejo as you approach. Once you reach Zihuatanejo, continue straight until you reach the beachfront area of Bahia de Zihuatanejo. There is parking available near the beach, but be mindful of any parking fees which may apply, typically around 50-100 MXN.

For those using public transportation, head to the main bus terminal in your location in Costa Grande. Look for a bus heading to Zihuatanejo. The bus ride from Acapulco to Zihuatanejo takes about 4 to 5 hours and fares range from 200 to 350 MXN depending on the bus company. Once you arrive at the Zihuatanejo bus station, you can either take a taxi or walk to Bahia de Zihuatanejo, which is about a 10-minute drive or a 30-minute walk. Taxis from the bus station to the beach generally cost around 50-100 MXN.
