Taxi
From your accommodation in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, you can take a taxi directly to Playa Contramar. Simply tell the driver 'Playa Contramar' or provide the address: P.º del Morro 17, Centro, 40880 Zihuatanejo. The taxi will take you to the entrance of Playa Contramar, which is approximately a 15-20 minute ride depending on traffic.
Combi (Shared Van)
To take a combi, head to the nearest combi stop, usually located along main roads in Ixtapa or Zihuatanejo. Look for a combi that goes towards 'Zihuatanejo Centro.' Once on the combi, inform the driver that you want to get off at Playa Contramar. You will be dropped off near the entrance of the beach area. From there, walk towards Playa Contramar, which is just a short walk away.
Walking from Zihuatanejo Centro
If you are staying in Zihuatanejo Centro, you can walk to Playa Contramar. Start at the main square (Plaza Principal) and head towards the waterfront. Follow the coastal path (P.º del Morro) along the beach. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes, and you will arrive at Playa Contramar. The beach entrance will be on your right, just before the road ends.
