Walking
If you are in central Cozumel, start by heading to the main square (Plaza Principal). From there, walk south towards the waterfront. Continue along Avenida Rafael E. Melgar, which runs parallel to the shore. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach the ferry terminal. From the ferry terminal, take a ferry to Puerto Morelos. Once you arrive at the Puerto Morelos ferry terminal, exit the terminal and head east towards Avenida Javier Rojo Gomez. Turn left (north) and walk for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach Ejercito Mexicano. Akabal Spa will be on your left at Ejercito Mexicano Supermanzana 02 Manzana 02 Lote 16.

Rent a bicycle from any of the rental shops in Cozumel. Start from the center of Cozumel and head towards the south along Avenida Rafael E. Melgar. Continue riding until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Puerto Morelos (be sure to check the ferry schedule). After disembarking at Puerto Morelos, ride east towards Avenida Javier Rojo Gomez. Turn left and continue north for about 1 kilometer. Akabal Spa will be located on your left at Ejercito Mexicano Supermanzana 02 Manzana 02 Lote 16.

From your location in Cozumel, take a local bus heading to Playa del Carmen. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Puerto Morelos.
