Walking
If you are in the center of San Miguel de Cozumel, start at the main square (Plaza Central). From there, head east on Avenida 5 Avenida towards Avenida General. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Av. Rafael E. Melgar. The Coral Reefs Monument will be on your right at Av. Rafael E. Melgar 101.
Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops near the main square in San Miguel. Head toward the waterfront along Av. Rafael E. Melgar. Keep cycling along this road for about 15 minutes, and you will spot the Coral Reefs Monument on your left at Av. Rafael E. Melgar 101.
Taxi
Find a taxi stand, which are usually located around the main square or in front of hotels. Tell the driver you want to go to the Coral Reefs Monument at Avenida General, Av. Rafael E. Melgar 101. The ride will take about 5 to 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
Public Transport (Collectivo)
Locate a collectivo (shared van) stop in the center of San Miguel. Board a collectivo heading towards the southern part of the island. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Coral Reefs Monument; they are familiar with the location. The journey will take approximately 10 minutes.
