Bicycle
If you are in downtown Cozumel, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops. Head south on Avenida 5 until you reach the intersection with Calle 11. Turn left onto Calle 11, then follow it as it curves into the coastal road. Continue riding along the coast, enjoying the beautiful views until you reach Playa del Secreto. The ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
Taxi
From any point in downtown Cozumel, you can easily find a taxi. Simply approach a taxi stand or hail one on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Playa del Secreto (pronounce it as 'Playa del Secreto'). The ride will take around 15 minutes depending on traffic, and the fare should be reasonable. Confirm the price before getting in if possible.
Walking
If you're staying near the coast, you can walk to Playa del Secreto. Start from the main plaza in downtown, head south along Avenida 5, then turn left on Calle 11. Continue walking until you reach the beach. It is a longer walk, taking about an hour, but it allows you to enjoy the sights of Cozumel along the way.
Public Transportation (Collectivo)
Find a collectivo (shared taxi van) that goes towards the south end of the island. You can catch these at designated stops in downtown. Get in and tell the driver you want to go to Playa del Secreto. The drivers usually know the location. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes, and you will be dropped off close to the beach.
