If you're starting from the downtown area of Cozumel, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head south on Avenida Benito Juárez until you reach the intersection with Avenida 5. Turn left onto Avenida 5 and continue until you reach the end of the street. There, you will find a sign for Playa del Carmen. Follow the signs leading you to Playacar Beach, which is approximately a 20-minute ride from downtown.

From downtown Cozumel, head south along the waterfront promenade (Malecon). Walk past the ferry terminal and continue along the coast. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the end of the promenade. At this point, turn left onto Avenida 5 and follow it straight until you reach Playacar Beach.
