Getting There

Walking

If you are staying in the central area of Playa del Carmen, exit your hotel and head towards Avenida 5. Walk south along Avenida 5 until you reach the intersection with Calle 12. Turn left onto Calle 12 and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. At this point, you will see the beach. Walk straight ahead onto P.º Xaman - Ha, which runs parallel to the beach. The Xaman - Ha Aviary will be on your right side after approximately 10 minutes of walking.
Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Playa del Carmen. Start from the main square (Plaza Principal) and head south on Avenida 5. Continue straight until you reach Calle 12, then turn left. Pedal along Calle 12 until you reach the beach, then continue straight onto P.º Xaman - Ha. The Xaman - Ha Aviary will be about a 10-minute ride after you reach the beach, on your right.
Taxi

Find a taxi stand or hail a taxi from your location. Tell the driver 'Xaman - Ha Aviary' or show them the address: P.º Xaman - Ha, Galaxia del Carmen II, 77717 Playa del Carmen. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. The aviary is located on the right side as you approach the beach.
Public Transportation

Take a colectivo (shared van) that is headed towards Tulum or Akumal. Board the colectivo at the designated stops along Avenida 5. Inform the driver to drop you off at the closest point to P.º Xaman - Ha. Once you get off, walk towards the beach and head west on P.º Xaman - Ha. The Xaman - Ha Aviary will be on your right side after a short walk.
