Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading southwest on the main highway (Mexico 150D) from Eastern Mexico towards Mexico City. Follow the signs for 'Ciudad de Mexico' and merge onto the Mexico-Puebla Highway. After approximately 120 kilometers, take the exit towards 'Periférico' (ring road) and continue for about 15 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to 'Chapultepec' and exit onto Avenida Constituyentes. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to Bosque de Chapultepec. There is parking available at the park, but it may incur a fee of around 50-100 MXN depending on duration.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus or coach from your location in Eastern Mexico to Mexico City. Follow the signs to Bosque de Chapultepec, and enter the park. The entrance to Chapultepec Castle is located within the park. The Metro ticket costs around 5 MXN.
