After parking, follow the signs to the dock where you can catch a water taxi to Yelapa. The water taxi ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around 150 to 200 MXN per person.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Puerto Vallarta to Boca de Tomatlán. Buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal in Puerto Vallarta, and the fare is about 30 MXN per person. Once you arrive in Boca de Tomatlán, follow the signs to the dock and purchase a ticket for a water taxi to Yelapa. The water taxi ride typically costs between 150 to 200 MXN and will take you directly to Yelapa, where you can then hike to the waterfall.
