Naha Ecoturismo: A Natural Haven in Chiapas

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Naha Ecoturismo, start from Ocosingo. Head southeast on the highway towards the Lacandon Jungle. Follow the signs for Nahá, which is about 30 km from Ocosingo. The drive will take you through beautiful landscapes. Once you reach the community of Nahá, look for signs pointing to Naha Ecoturismo. There is limited parking available near the ecotourism site.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Naha Ecoturismo by public transport, take a bus from Ocosingo to Nahá. Buses run regularly throughout the day. The fare is approximately 50 pesos. Once you arrive in Nahá, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Naha Ecoturismo. From there, it is a short walk to the ecotourism site, just follow the signs.

• Taxi

  Another option is to hire a taxi from Ocosingo to Naha Ecoturismo. This can be more convenient, especially if you are traveling with luggage or in a group. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should be around 300-400 pesos depending on your starting point in Ocosingo. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of Naha Ecoturismo.

• Walking (from Nahá)

  If you arrive in Nahá by bus or taxi, and the drop-off point is not right at Naha Ecoturismo, you may need to walk. Look for signs directing you towards Naha Ecoturismo, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the main village area. The path is generally well-marked, but it's advisable to ask locals for directions if you are unsure.
