After about 70 km, you'll see signs indicating Calakmul. Follow these signs as you turn off the main road and continue on the access road to the archaeological site. Be prepared for a long, bumpy ride as the last stretch is through dirt roads. Remember to pay the entrance fee of around 75 MXN per person.
