Getting There

Car

If you're driving from Los Altos de Jalisco, take the main highway (Carretera Federal 80) towards Guadalajara. Continue for about 50 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Guadalajara. Follow the signs for 'Centro' and merge onto Avenida Hidalgo. Continue straight on Avenida Hidalgo, which will eventually turn into Avenida Juárez. After approximately 5 kilometers, turn right onto Calle 16 de Septiembre, then take another right onto Calle Mariano Bárcena. The Acuario Michin will be on your left at C. Mariano Bárcena 990, Zona Centro.
Public Transportation

To get to Acuario Michin using public transport, head to the nearest bus station in Los Altos de Jalisco. Take a bus heading to Guadalajara Centro. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in the Centro area, walk towards Avenida Juárez. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi. If walking, head east on Avenida Juárez, turn right onto Calle 16 de Septiembre, and then right again onto Calle Mariano Bárcena. The aquarium will be on your left at C. Mariano Bárcena 990.
