Car
From any location in Los Altos de Jalisco, head towards the town of San Juan de los Lagos. Once you reach the main intersection in San Juan de los Lagos, take the highway towards Guadalajara. Continue on this route for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the junction with Highway 15. Take the exit for Highway 15 towards Puerto Vallarta. After about 60 kilometers on Highway 15, look for the signs that direct you to Mismaloya Beach. Exit onto the scenic coastal road leading to Mismaloya. Follow the road for about 10 kilometers, and you'll see signs directing you to Mismaloya Beach. Parking options are available nearby, generally costing around 50 pesos.

Public Transportation
Begin by taking a bus from any central point in Los Altos de Jalisco to Guadalajara. The bus trip takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours and costs around 80 pesos. Once in Guadalajara, transfer to another bus heading to Puerto Vallarta from the Central de Autobuses (Bus Terminal). This journey will take about 4 to 5 hours and costs approximately 200 pesos. Upon arriving in Puerto Vallarta, you can take a local bus or taxi to Mismaloya Beach. If you take the bus, wait for the 'Mismaloya' bus at the bus stop outside the terminal, which costs around 20 pesos and takes about 30 minutes to reach the beach.
