From any point in the Hotel Zone, locate the nearest bus stop along the main avenue (Avenida Francisco Medina Ascencio). Look for the blue and white local buses marked with 'Centro' or 'Centro Histórico'. Buses run frequently, and the fare is approximately 10 pesos. Board the bus and ride until you reach the stop at 'Pino Suarez.' This should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

After getting off at the 'Pino Suarez' bus stop, you will be on the edge of the Centro district. Head east on Pino Suarez street until you reach the intersection with Independencia street. Turn left onto Independencia. Continue walking straight for about 5-10 minutes. You will see Plaza de Armas on your right, a beautiful open space that often features local events and entertainment.
