Start your journey by taking the Mexico City Metro. If you're near a metro station, board Line 7 (the orange line) towards El Rosario. Get off at the Tacuba station, which is approximately 10 stops from the starting point. Once you exit the Tacuba station, head towards the exit that leads to the street 'Avenida Miguel Angel de Quevedo'.

From Tacuba station, you can take a bus (Ruta 7) heading towards Popotla. The bus stop is located right outside the station. Make sure to inform the driver that you are heading to Popotla, which should take around 10-15 minutes.

After getting off the bus at Popotla, walk towards the intersection of Avenida Miguel Angel de Quevedo and Calle Popotla. Continue straight along Calle Popotla for about 5 minutes. Plaza de el Arbol de la Noche Triste will be on your right side; look for the large tree that is a notable landmark in the area.
