Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the heart of Polanco, start by heading towards Avenida Masaryk. From there, walk towards Avenida Presidente Manuel Ávila Camacho, which should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you reach this avenue, turn left and continue walking until you reach Avenida Paseo de la Reforma. Cross this busy avenue (be sure to use pedestrian crossings for safety), and then continue straight on Avenida Paseo de la Reforma. You will see signs for Bosque de Chapultepec. The entrance to the Jardín Botánico is on your right after approximately 10 minutes of walking along Paseo de la Reforma.

  • Metro

    From Polanco, you can also take the Metro to reach Jardín Botánico. Walk to the nearest Metro station, which is 'Polanco' on Line 7 (the orange line). Purchase a ticket from the ticket booth or machines (the cost is around 5 MXN). Take the Metro in the direction of El Rosario and get off at 'Tacuba' station. Then, transfer to Line 3 (the olive green line) and head towards Indios Verdes. Get off at 'Chapultepec' station, which is about a 10-minute walk to the Jardín Botánico. Follow the signs towards the park entrance along Avenida Paseo de la Reforma.

  • Bus

    You can take a bus from Polanco to reach the Jardín Botánico. Look for the RTP (Red de Transporte de Pasajeros) bus stops. A good option is to catch the RTP Line 7 bus heading towards Chapultepec. The bus fare is around 6 MXN. Get off at the 'Avenida Chapultepec' stop and from there, it's just a short walk to the entrance of the Jardín Botánico. Follow Avenida Paseo de la Reforma and look for the main entrance.
