Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the heart of Polanco, you can easily walk to Monumento a Agustín Lara. Start at Plaza Carso, which is a central landmark. Head southeast on Avenida Presidente Masaryk. Continue straight for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Campos Elíseos. Turn left onto Campos Elíseos and you will find the monument in a small park area on your right. The walk is approximately 1 kilometer and should take around 15-20 minutes.

• Metro

  For those who prefer using public transport, you can take the Metro. Head to the nearest Metro station, which is 'Polanco' on Line 7 (the orange line). Board the train towards El Rosario and get off at the next stop, 'Tacuba'. From Tacuba Station, exit and take a taxi or a walking path through the nearby streets. The walk from Tacuba station to the monument is about 1.5 kilometers and takes roughly 20-25 minutes. Note that a single Metro ticket costs around 5 MXN.

• Bicycle

  If you are feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the bike-sharing stations in Polanco. Look for 'EcoBici' stations nearby. Once you have your bike, head to Avenida Presidente Masaryk and cycle southeast for about 1 kilometer. Turn left onto Campos Elíseos, and the monument will be on your right. This route is flat and very bike-friendly, making it a pleasant ride.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more comfortable option and wish to avoid walking, you can take a taxi or a rideshare service like Uber. Simply request a ride to 'Monumento a Agustín Lara, Campos Elíseos, Polanco'. The fare should be around 50-70 MXN depending on your starting point in Polanco.
