Paseo de la Reforma, turn left and walk straight for about 500 meters until you see the monument on your right.

Look for a bus that goes along Av. Paseo de la Reforma. Many buses in Mexico City have 'Paseo de la Reforma' displayed on their front. Take any bus that stops at the Angel of Independence. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, you will be directly at the monument, which is hard to miss.
