Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in the Coyoacán neighborhood, walking to Plaza Coyoacán is a pleasant option. Begin at the main street, Avenida Miguel Ángel de Quevedo. Head south until you reach the traffic circle at Plaza de la Conchita. From there, take a right onto Calle de Aguayo. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you see Plaza Coyoacán on your left at Aguayo 12. The plaza is vibrant and often filled with local artists and vendors.

• Metro

  To reach Plaza Coyoacán via the Metro, locate the nearest Metro station, either Coyoacán (Line 3) or Viveros-Derechos Humanos (Line 3). If you are at Coyoacán station, exit and walk east on Avenida Coyoacán until you reach Avenida Miguel Ángel de Quevedo. Turn right and continue walking south. If you arrive at Viveros-Derechos Humanos, exit and head west on Avenida Viveros, then turn right onto Avenida Coyoacán. Continue until you reach Plaza Coyoacán. Note that a single Metro ticket costs approximately 5 pesos.

• Bus

  If you prefer taking a bus, look for routes that pass through Avenida Coyoacán. Buses labeled 'Coyoacán' or 'Hidalgo' often stop near Plaza Coyoacán. Board the bus and inform the driver of your destination; the fare is typically around 6 pesos. Once you disembark, head towards Aguayo 12, where the plaza is located.
