Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are starting from central Mexico City, take Line 12 (the Golden Line) of the Metro from stations like Zapata or Hospital 20 de Noviembre towards Tláhuac. Get off at the 'Tláhuac' station, which is the last stop on the line. The ticket will cost you around 5 MXN.

  • Tricycle Taxi (Mototaxi)

    Upon exiting the Tláhuac Metro station, you can find mototaxis (tricycle taxis) waiting outside. These are a convenient way to reach Las Trajineras. Tell the driver 'Las Trajineras' or provide them with the address: Canal 236, San Jerónimo, Xochimilco. The fare should be around 30-50 MXN, depending on your negotiation skills.

  • Walking

    If you prefer walking from the Tláhuac Metro station, exit the station and head west on Av. Tláhuac. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Canal 236. Turn right onto Canal 236 and walk for another 500 meters. You will see signs pointing to Las Trajineras. This walk will take approximately 20-25 minutes.

  • Local Bus

    Alternatively, from the Tláhuac Metro station, you can take a local bus heading towards Xochimilco. Look for buses that have 'Xochimilco' written on them. The bus fare is about 10 MXN. Get off at the stop closest to Canal 236 and walk a short distance to reach Las Trajineras.
