From the center of Barrio Antiguo, head east on Calle Morelos until you reach the intersection with Avenida Juárez. Turn left onto Avenida Juárez and continue straight for about 10 minutes. You will see La Gran Fuente de Monterrey on your right at Ignacio Zaragoza 62. The walk is approximately 800 meters and should take around 10-15 minutes.

Locate the nearest metro station, which is 'Juárez' on Line 2 (the red line). Board the metro heading towards 'Talleres'. Get off at the next stop, 'Zaragoza'. Upon exiting the station, walk south on Ignacio Zaragoza Street for about 5 minutes. La Gran Fuente de Monterrey will be located at Ignacio Zaragoza 62 on your left. The metro ride costs approximately 12 MXN.
