Turn left onto Calle de la República and walk until you reach the intersection with Calle de Miguel Cabrera. Turn right onto Calle de Miguel Cabrera and continue until you see Panteón General on your left at the address Centro, 68104 Oaxaca. The total walking distance is approximately 1 kilometer and should take around 15-20 minutes.

From the Zócalo, you can take a local bus (look for the ones marked 'Centro') heading towards the cemetery area. Alight at the stop nearest to Calle de Miguel Cabrera. After getting off, walk down Calle de Miguel Cabrera towards the east and Panteón General will be on your left. Make sure to ask the bus driver or locals if you're unsure about your stop. This route should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
