Once you arrive at Santa María del Tule, disembark at the main bus stop. The Tree of Tule is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head south on Avenida 5 de Febrero, then take a left onto Calle 2 de Abril. Follow this street until you reach your destination on the right.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any point in Oaxaca. Just tell the driver 'Árbol del Tule' or provide the address: '2 de Abril, 8va Etapa IVO Fracc el Retiro, Santa María del Tule'. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure you agree on a fare before starting your journey.
Bicycle
For those feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Oaxaca. Head east on Calle de la Independencia, then continue onto Avenida de la República. Follow this avenue until you reach the road leading to Santa María del Tule. It’s about a 12 km ride, so expect to spend roughly 1 hour cycling. Once you reach Santa María del Tule, follow the signs to the Tree of Tule, which is located at 2 de Abril.
Walking
If you are near Santa María del Tule, you can easily walk to the Tree of Tule. Start from the main square in Santa María del Tule and walk along Avenida 5 de Febrero heading south. When you reach Calle 2 de Abril, turn left. The Tree of Tule will be on your right side. It's a pleasant walk of about 15 minutes.
