Getting There

    If you are driving, from any major city along the Pacific Coast such as Acapulco or Puerto Escondido, take the Highway 200 towards Huatulco. The drive from Acapulco to Huatulco is approximately 7 hours. Follow the signs for Bahías de Huatulco. Upon entering Huatulco, continue straight until you reach the entrance to Parque Nacional Huatulco. Look for signs indicating the entrance along the road. Parking is available at the entrance for a fee, typically around 50 MXN.

  • Bus

    For public transportation, take a long-distance bus from cities like Acapulco or Oaxaca City to Huatulco. Bus companies like ADO and Estrella de Oro offer comfortable services. The journey from Acapulco takes about 8 hours, while from Oaxaca City it takes about 6 hours. Once you arrive at the Huatulco bus station, you can take a local taxi or a colectivo (shared van) to the entrance of Parque Nacional Huatulco.
