If you are at the heart of Playa del Carmen, start at the famous Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue). Head towards Calle 12 Norte, which is just a block south. Walk west on Calle 12 Norte until you reach the intersection with Avenida 10 Norte. Coco Bongo will be right at the corner on your left.

Find a nearby taxi stand or flag down a taxi on the street. Inform the driver that you want to go to Coco Bongo at Calle 12 Norte and Avenida 10 Norte. If you're located within the downtown area, the fare should be reasonable, and the ride may take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic.

If you have rented a bicycle, head towards the beach and follow the coastline north until you reach Avenida 10 Norte. Turn left (west) and continue until you reach Calle 12 Norte. Turn right (north) on Calle 12 Norte, and Coco Bongo will be at the corner of Calle 12 Norte and Avenida 10 Norte.

While Playa del Carmen has limited public transport, you can take a colectivo (shared van) that runs along the main highway. Get off at the nearest stop to the downtown area and walk towards Quinta Avenida. Follow the same walking directions from there towards Calle 12 Norte and Avenida 10 Norte.
