Getting There

• Bus

  From Playa del Carmen, head to the main bus terminal located on 5th Avenue and Juárez Avenue. Look for the ADO buses that travel to Cancún. Purchase a ticket to Cancún, which typically costs around 200 pesos. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. Once you arrive at the ADO bus terminal in Cancún, exit the terminal, and use a taxi or local transportation service to reach Mar Caribe 500. It is approximately a 10-minute drive from the terminal. Make sure to show the address to the driver.

• Shared Van

  At the corner of 5th Avenue and 10th Avenue in Playa del Carmen, you’ll find shared vans (also known as colectivos) heading to Cancún. Each van can hold several passengers, so wait for it to fill up before departing. The fare is generally around 50 pesos. Inform the driver that you need to go to Mar Caribe 500 in Cancún. They will drop you off as close to your destination as possible. If needed, you may need to take a short taxi ride from the drop-off point.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Playa del Carmen to Cancún. Taxis are available throughout Playa del Carmen, especially around the main areas like 5th Avenue. The fare to Cancún can range from 600 to 800 pesos depending on your negotiation skills and the exact destination. Once you are in the taxi, provide the driver with the address: Mar Caribe 500, 77533 Cancún. The drive should take around 45 minutes.
