Start from the center of Playa del Carmen at the famous Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue). Head north on Quinta Avenida until you reach Calle 5 Norte (5th North Street). Turn right onto Calle 5 Norte and continue walking until you reach Avenida 10 Norte (10th North Avenue). Turn left and walk toward the beach. Once you reach the beach, continue walking north along the coastline until you arrive at Playa del Secreto. The beach is located at approximately 20.7809 latitude and -86.9421 longitude.
Public Transport (Collectivo)

From your location in Playa del Carmen, walk to the nearest main road and look for a 'collectivo' stop. Collectivos are shared vans that travel along the main highway. Board a collectivo heading to Puerto Morelos and inform the driver that you want to get off at Playa del Secreto. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. After disembarking, follow the road toward the beach, which is a short walk away.
Bicycle Rental

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops along Quinta Avenida. Once you have your bike, head north on Quinta Avenida until you reach Calle 5 Norte.
