From anywhere in Playa del Carmen, head to the nearest collectivo station, usually located near the main bus terminal or along the main streets. Look for a collectivo heading towards Tulum or Ejidal. The fare is typically around 30-40 pesos. Once you are in the collectivo, inform the driver that you want to go to Cenote Chaak Tun. They will drop you off at the cenote entrance, which is located on Avenida Benito Juarez, approximately 4 km from the city center.

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Playa del Carmen. Start from the city center and head towards Avenida Benito Juarez. Continue on this road for about 4 km. You'll pass through a residential area; watch for signs indicating you are near Ejidal. Once you reach the address Av. Benito Juarez 7-km 4, look for the entrance to Cenote Chaak Tun on your right.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the city center, heading towards Avenida Benito Juarez. The walk is approximately 4 km and will take around 45-60 minutes. Walk along Avenida Constituyentes until you reach Avenida Juarez. Follow Avenida Juarez until you reach the intersection with Avenida 30. Continue straight on Avenida Benito Juarez. Look for the signs leading to Cenote Chaak Tun, which will be on your right after about 4 km.
