Walking
If you are starting from the main beach area of Playa Zicatela, head towards the northwest along the beach until you reach the rocky outcrop. From there, continue walking past the outcrop, and you will see a path leading up to the left. Follow this path which will take you through some residential areas. After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at a small hill. Continue to the left, and you'll find a sign that says 'Puerto Angelito.' Follow the signs down the hill towards the beach.

Public Transport
From the main plaza in Puerto Escondido, locate the nearest colectivos (shared vans). These usually depart from a designated area near the Plaza de las Tres Culturas. Tell the driver you want to go to Puerto Angelito. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes. Get off at the closest stop and walk downhill following the directional signs or ask locals for guidance. The beach is a short walk from the main road.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Puerto Escondido. Start from Playa Zicatela and cycle towards the main road, following the signs to Bahía de Puerto Angelito. The route is mostly downhill, making it a pleasant ride. Once you reach the fork in the road, take the left path which will lead you directly to the beach area of Puerto Angelito. The total distance is approximately 3 km and should take around 20 minutes.
