From the main bus terminal in Puerto Vallarta (Central de Autobuses), take the bus heading towards Mismaloya. Buses are frequent, approximately every 30 minutes. You can catch the bus from the terminal or from various points along Avenida Francisco Medina Ascencio. Make sure to ask the driver if they go to Mismaloya Beach to confirm. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the last stop, which is Mismaloya, and follow the signs to the beach.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi. You can hail a taxi from any part of Puerto Vallarta or ask your hotel to call one for you. The taxi ride to Mismaloya Beach will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey, as taxis in Puerto Vallarta do not have meters.

If you are staying nearby, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Mismaloya Beach. Start from the southern end of the Malecon (boardwalk) and head towards the south along the coast.
