Water Taxi
To get to Playa Majahuitas, start at the Los Muertos Beach Pier in Puerto Vallarta. Look for water taxis that are heading towards the South Shore beaches. You can purchase your ticket at the pier. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you'll enjoy stunning views of the coastline. Ask the captain to drop you off at Playa Majahuitas, and once you arrive, you’ll be able to enjoy this beautiful beach.
Bus and Boat
From the central area of Puerto Vallarta, take a local bus heading south towards Mismaloya. The bus stop is located along the main road. Once you reach Mismaloya, get off at the last stop. From there, walk to the beach and look for water taxis that can take you to Playa Majahuitas. Make sure to communicate with the boat operators to ensure you get to your desired destination.
Hiking
For the adventurous, you can hike to Playa Majahuitas. Start at Boca de Tomatlán, which you can reach by taking a bus from Puerto Vallarta to the Boca de Tomatlán bus stop. From Boca de Tomatlán, follow the coastal trail towards Playa Majahuitas. The hike is about 1-2 hours and offers beautiful views along the way. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
