Getting There
Walking
If you are in the Zona Romantica area, start by heading north towards Calle Basilio Badillo. Once you reach the intersection with Avenida 5 de Febrero, turn left and continue walking straight. After a few blocks, you will reach the Malecón (boardwalk). Walk along the Malecón heading northwest towards the Centro area. When you see the beautiful ocean view on your right, keep walking until you reach Plaza de Armas, located at Independencia s/n, right in the heart of Puerto Vallarta.
Public Transport (Bus)
Find a bus stop along the main road (Avenida Francisco Medina Ascencio) and board a bus heading towards Centro. Inform the bus driver that you are going to Plaza de Armas. The bus will take you directly to the Centro area. Get off at the stop closest to Plaza de Armas, which is near the intersection of Calle Independencia and Avenida Juárez. From there, walk a short distance to the plaza located at Independencia s/n.
Taxi
You can easily find a taxi in most areas of Puerto Vallarta. Simply tell the driver 'Plaza de Armas' or give them the address 'Independencia s/n, Centro'. The taxi will take you directly to the plaza. Be sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey or ensure the meter is running.
