Starting from the heart of Zona Romantica, head towards the famous Los Muertos Beach. Walk along the beach promenade (Malecón) until you reach Calle Basilio Badillo. Turn left on Calle Basilio Badillo and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Francisco I. Madero. At this point, turn right and continue walking. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the base of the hill leading up to the Hill of the Cross. Look for the signs indicating the trail entrance.

Once you find the trail entrance at the base of the hill, prepare for a steep hike. The trail is well-marked, and you'll see some steps and pathways. It usually takes about 20-30 minutes to reach the top, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the hike can be strenuous.

If you prefer not to hike, you can take a local bus from Zona Romantica. Head to the bus stop on Avenida Francisco I. Madero and look for buses marked 'Mismaloya' or 'Las Palmas'. The fare is approximately 10-15 pesos. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to the Hill of the Cross. From there, you may need to walk a short distance to the trail entrance.
