Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start by getting onto the Carretera 307 (Federal Highway 307) from your location in Riviera Maya. Continue southbound until you reach Carretera Chetumal-Pto. Juárez. Merge onto Carretera Chetumal-Pto. Juárez and keep following the signs towards Playa del Carmen. After approximately 30-40 minutes, look for the signs indicating Dolphin Discovery Playa del Carmen, located at Carretera Chetumal-Pto. Juárez Km. 503 + 200 El Dorado Maroma. There is parking available on-site, but be prepared for a fee, typically around 100 MXN.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  To reach Dolphin Discovery Playa del Carmen via public transportation, take a bus from any major town in Riviera Maya (such as Tulum or Akumal) heading towards Playa del Carmen. Buses frequently run along Highway 307 and cost about 50-70 MXN. When you arrive at the Playa del Carmen bus terminal, exit the terminal and look for a local taxi or shuttle service to take you to Dolphin Discovery. The taxi ride will cost approximately 100-150 MXN and will take about 10-15 minutes.
