Bicycle
If you're in central Cozumel, start by heading towards Avenida 5 Sur, a main road. Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops available around the plaza. Once you have your bike, take Avenida 5 Sur north until you reach the intersection with Avenida 10 Norte. Turn left onto Avenida 10 Norte and continue cycling until you reach the waterfront area. Follow the coastline south on the coastal road, which will eventually lead you to Playa del Carmen. Maroma Beach is located approximately 10 km south of Playa del Carmen, so make sure to take breaks and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.

Taxi
From any location in Cozumel, you can easily catch a taxi to Playa del Carmen. Simply approach a taxi stand, or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Request to go to Maroma Beach, located at Cancun - Chetumal Km 55. The taxi ride will take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic, and you can enjoy the views during the ride. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before you start your journey.

To reach Maroma Beach via public transport, start by heading to the main bus terminal in Cozumel, located near the waterfront. Take a bus heading to Playa del Carmen. The bus ride will take around 45 minutes to one hour. Once you arrive at the Playa del Carmen bus terminal, look for a taxi or a colectivo (shared van) that can take you to Maroma Beach, just a short distance away. Make sure to confirm the price before getting in the taxi or colectivo.
