If you're near the Centro Histórico, you can walk towards the 'Calle Insurgentes' and then take a left onto 'Calle de la 5 de Febrero'. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 'Carretera San Miguel de Allende - Guanajuato'. Turn right onto the highway. Although it is a long walk (approximately 8 km), enjoy the scenic views along the way. It will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so wear comfortable shoes.
