Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from any location in Southeastern Mexico towards the United States border. Depending on your starting point, you will need to take the most convenient highways toward I-25 North. Once you cross into New Mexico, continue on I-25 North until you reach Albuquerque. Take exit 228 for Tramway Blvd. and follow Tramway Blvd. North for approximately 10 miles. The Sandia Peak Tramway will be on your left at 30 Tramway Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from major cities in Southeastern Mexico to Albuquerque. Look for services that connect to Albuquerque, such as Greyhound or other regional bus lines. Once in Albuquerque, use the local bus service (ABQ RIDE) to reach Tramway Blvd. You will want to take Bus Route 66 or 8 that will bring you near the tramway.
